Wig essential pt.2

Mousse https://amzn.to/3moIl8Y

Mousse is a great essential product as it can be used as a styling product. An example would be helping define curls or wave patterns on deep wave units, or even creating a ‘wet look’.

Mousse can also be used to tame any flyaways; by applying it on the lace frontal|closure, then passing through a hot comb, and setting it with a satin scarf.

Instead of using gels, mousse can be a great alternative for creating fluffy baby hairs, that wouldn’t leave any residue.

Lace bond glue spray https://amzn.to/3SHL2yK

If you prefer glueing down you wigs, then this is the perfect glue for you!

We have found that the Ebin Wonder lace bond adhesive to be one of the strongest and long lasting lace glue out there when applied right.

One of the benefits of this glue is that it's an adhesive spray; which makes it easier to target and apply, and it also doesn't leave any residue behind.

Spritz spray https://amzn.to/3Ziza8G

Spritz spray is a great product to use when it comes to making your lace disappear to give the illusion of scalp!

How to use it?

  • After installing your wig down apply spritz spray on the hairline of the lace

  • Set with melt band for about 10 minutes to get the perfect result

Got2b gel https://amzn.to/3ZFyIkV

If you love adding in baby hairs to your wigs, this product is for you!

Using the got2b gel to slick down your baby hairs is an essential tool, as it helps hold them down in your set style for a long time; by applying, styling, and setting with a satin scarf.

Wide plate straighteners https://amzn.to/3JbjlLG

Switching to a wide plate straightener has been one of the best thing we’ve done, because it allows you to straighten larger sections of hair; making it easier and very time efficient.

The Remington wide plate straighteners we recommend heats up to 230°, and with our units we recommend the highest you go is 200° — this is so that you preserve the quality of the hair.

With wigs from other vendors; check and ask how much heat your unit can withstand, so that you don’t cause any damages to the hair, and also remember to use a heat protectant beforehand.

Straightening your wig in sections, whilst using the chase method with a rattail comb; allows you to get a perfect silk straight buss down finish!
